It's been a little over three years, upwards of 68,000 visits, and about 1,700 posts. This blog has seen some enormous life changes for me. In a very real sense it has contributed to those changes, the most obvious being a very beautiful fiancee whom I met as a direct result of posting day after day and taking the opportunity to meet co-enthusiasts. I am very grateful that God provided for me in a time of great need and that through this hobby I have met so many wonderful people. It has been a blessing.
That is all to say, of course, that I have decided to close up shop. I could say that it's because I've got a busy year of school ahead of me (I do), or that I need the extra time to plan a wedding (that's true too). But neither of those are the real crux of the matter. I think there are some other things that I need to learn and blogging is going to get in the way. I've often been pretty opinionated; now I need to get better at holding my peace. It's hard to listen well when I'm trying to think of what to say. Thanks so much for the visits, the comments and becoming a part of my life. I appreciate it. I will leave my email address as a point of contact.
